Warriors TMA Academy based in Coventry is best place to train in a variety of martial arts and Combat sports. We strive for a professional and friendly environment where everybody is welcome.
Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is a combat sport that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs”, as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins.
Warrior’s Workout Classes
A form of high intensity interval training, the Warrior’s Workout Class is a strength and conditioning workout that is made up of functional movement performed at a high intensity level.
Brazilian Ju Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or BJJ is a martial art based on grappling and ground fighting, focusing on the skill of controlling one’s opponent through techniques that force him or her to submit. It prides itself in being known as the “gentle art”, allowing a smaller, weaker person to use leverage and submissions (chokes, locks) to defend himself against a bigger opponent. With origins in Judo (Newaza) and Japanese Jujutsu, it has since been adapted and modified by Carlos Gracie and his family to become the martial art it is today.
BOOKED ON FOR A TRIAL CLASS?
If you are booked in to try a Warriors Workout, No Gi Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai class, please wear comfortable training wear, bring boxing gloves if you have them (Thai class only), a bottle of water and sliders.
If you are booked in for a GI Jiu Jitsu class we will provide you with an Academy Gi to train in. Please wear your own T-shirt, bring a bottle of water and wear sliders.

“Over the years I lost track of my health due to life commitments and only recently I decided to make a change but this time round I wanted to do something different because I’m bored of the traditional gyms. I needed something that will give me the motivation to get up at 5am and work out. After some research I decided to try out the morning classes at the WTA Gym and it’s been the best decision I’ve made. The gym’s layout and cleanliness is impeccable, the workouts are difficult however you feel like your on top of the world once it’s over. The feel is amazing and it prepares me for my busy day day ahead. This is the only time I’ve ever been excited about working out first thing in the morning. Normally I’d go into a traditional gym half hearted and bored of the same routines. This time round i go to WTA full of energy because the workouts are exciting and I look forward to meeting the guys there. Once you’ve been down to WTA you’ll understand what I’m talking about.
